BRUCE WILLIS
Owner and Chemist
Bruce retired from the State of Georgia after 32 years of service. During his years of service he was a career crime scene specialist and criminal investigator. Through his tenure with the state he taught crime scene investigation certification classes to include latent print chemical development.
After retirement Bruce became a professor and then Vice President at Piedmont University starting the first Forensic Academy in Georgia. The Georgia Forensic Academy taught both college students and law enforcement.
KATRINA WILLIS
Owner and Manager
Katrina has worked in law enforcement as a civilian crime scene investigator and latent print examiner for 31 years. Katrina has managed the crime scene unit in two agencies. Katrina teaches crime scene investigation and in-service classes to local law enforcement.

BK Forensics was founded in March 2025 by Bruce and Katrina, inspired by a deep respect for the forensic science community and a desire to continue a legacy of excellence. The company was born following the acquisition of the chemical inventory of the late Bob Kopec, a pioneer in the field and a trusted colleague of Bruce's for over 25 years.
Bob and his wife Karen built Crime Scene Supply into a trusted source of forensic chemical reagents for law enforcement agencies and crime laboratories across the United States. Bruce and Katrina are honored to carry that torch forward.
